"How do you want to get away?"
August 21, 2015, the HR Department of Emcor Inc. Davao had their trip to Madyaw Beach Resort in Canibad, Aundanao, Peñaplata, Island Garden City of Samal. I decided to come with them because my mother also belongs to the department and I also wanted to break the monotony of my school activities. We rode a barge from Sasa wharf to Samal port and traveled almost two hours to reach our destination.
Actually, it was a good thing that there was no signal in the place because I got to enjoy the beauty of the place, took a lot pictures and also had a quality time to bond with other people. Sometimes, it is good not to check or update our social media accounts like facebook, twitter, instagram, and swarm when we travel or go on an adventure because there are more great things that what can do rather than just sitting in a corner and update our social media accounts.
Canibad is also known for its cliff diving area, unfortunately, we were not able to experience the cliff diving because of the weather. It was not good for a dive because of the big waves and there were many rock forms near the area. It is better to be safe than sorry. Despite the bad weather that I experienced, I still had fun because of the beautiful place in Canibad and I enjoyed the big waves in the shore.
